The Web Activity Log is a report that gives you a more detailed look into web activity. This powerful report pulls all activity into a single spot to allow for deep investigations into web activity. It also has search and filter tools to let you get to just the information you want.

The Report can be found by navigating to Reports > Web Activity Logs

The Web Activity Log informs an Administrator of the following information:

  • URL: Sites a user visited. URLs are clickable, which will open a new tab to the site or YouTube video.
  • Access: Shows if a site was Allowed or Blocked
  • User:  Which user visited the site. Users are clickable, which will show a User Details fly-out.
  • Internal IP:  Shows the device's IP on your local network at the time the site was accessed
  • External IP: Shows the device's IP on an external network at the time the site was accessed
  • Device Serial Number:  Shows the device serial number that was being used. (Note:  Chromebooks must be managed by GAFE to return a Device Serial Number)
  • Time:  Shows the date and time a user visited the site

The Web Activity Log also gives you the ability to search and filter when needing to see more granular results.

Searchable Items Include:

  • Serial Number
  • Internal IP
  • External IP
  • URL
  • User Email

Filter Toggles Include:

  • Date
  • Serial Number
  • Internal IP
  • External IP
  • URL
  • User Name
  • User Email

Download a CSV of your results by clicking on the green icon in the top left corner of the report results.
